At Beckett Farm PS, we are committed to an equitable learning environment. We do this by setting and maintaining high standards for all our students and working together to help them be as successful as they can. Our focus continues to be on building the “whole child”, valuing their strengths and finding ways to celebrate their successes. The opportunities we create, both in class and through extra-curricular activities will be based on those strengths and will create a caring and inclusive environment where every student feels valued and supported.
As we prepare our students for the world that they will venture into, we seek to create compassionate, world citizens. At Beckett Farm PS, we want our students to use what they learn to understand both their rights and their responsibilities. Furthermore, what we do in school helps to prepare us to contribute effectively to our communities and the world.
“It takes a village to raise a child” is a proverb that we keep in mind especially because we know student achievement increases when families are involved in schools. We look forward to continuing to build the partnership between all our families and staff in order to help our students achieve their highest potential and to support their educational journey.
